It’s that festive season again, so with that in mind, we are talking about ways you can say a massive thank you to your loyal customers with Christmas cards!

Christmas can be the busiest period of the year for most businesses…

…So it’s important to stay connected with your customers. Christmas cards are a super easy and thoughtful way to tell your customers how much you appreciate their custom and loyalty. So why not take the opportunity to tell them this festive season? So, here are a few ways that you can make a big impact upon your clients, whilst sending some love and gratitude with your Christmas cards.

  • Try and keep it personal. Statistics show that people generally tend to keep Christmas cards that have been hand-written much longer that the generic printed ones that don’t have a personal touch. If you can’t hand write your cards, at least make sure that you sign your name at the bottom.
  • Don’t e-card. The time for e-cards have been and gone, yet you still find people years after years sending them only to end up straight into the trash folders. Sending a physical card shows that you have put effort and thought into sending it to your customer, therefore they’re more likely to keep it.
  • Send within good time. It is important to try and get your Christmas cards in the post in early December (or late November) so they arrive on time for Christmas rather than floating into post boxes at the beginning of January. They will just get thrown away and your customer may feel like it was just an after thought rather than a kindĀ gesture.
  • Neutral theme. Remember not everyone celebrates Christmas, so if possible try and steer clear of your classic “Merry Christmas” greeting. Instead go for things like “Seasons Greetings” and “wishing you a Happy New Year”. This way there is Ā a minimal chance of offending those who do not celebrate Christmas.
  • Ā Brand it up. Although you are sending Christmas cards to make your clients aware of your gratitude towards their custom, it is also a very good idea to promote your brand in the process. The best way to do this would to keep it simple and subtle so that it doesn’t take away from the purpose of the card, but keeps you and your business in the back of their minds. A good way to do this could be to include a voucher as a gift, so it still follows the purpose of the card, but also gives them a reason to come back and use your services.

Remember, our prices for Christmas cards have dropped, and we are offering an extra Ā£40 off!
