A few days ago, there was a ripple in the world of social media. Instagram have updated their logo and app design. The team at Pixel had mixed opinions at first, but now we think its updated super funky 90’s themed app design is pretty cool.
Here is what Linzi thought about the new design:
“When the app & logo redesign was first released, I found myself wondering why Instagram had tried to fix something that wasn’t broken. However I am all for a brand refresh and over the last week or so I have warmed to the new design. I think the transition from a vintage looking logo to the use of bright & vibrant colours in the newer “flat design” logo cleverly updates the logo to become more modern and to appeal to the generation the frequently use Instagram.
