The one when we say…

That’s a
wrap 2019!

First of all, thank you!

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our clients (old & new!) for your continued support this year. As we’ll explain further down, we have had a pretty big year with lots of new & exciting things happening and we are so pleased to have shared the experiences with our lovely and loyal customers & to continue growing relationships and meeting new people!

This year, we have focused on maintaining our approach to customer service and being more transparent with project management and expectations with our clients. We hope to further enhance this experience by launching a project management tool for our nettl:concierge clients & for large website projects too. We also plan on making more time for strategic marketing & planning meetings with our clients to ensure that you get the most out of our experienced and multi skilled team.

The move…

One of the biggest events to happen to us this year was moving away from our small but practical rented office space in Mill Street, to our very own property on Comberton Hill in March. Originally a Solictors’ building shaped with character from the 1890’s, we have now transformed our space into something that really inspires creativity & tells more of a story about who we are. With a separate meeting space & studio, we can now take meetings & chats over coffee with our clients without being interrupted, and the team can be more focused in the studio making our work flow much more efficient!

We created a mini documentary about our move, just click here to watch!

Networking galore!

Something that we really wanted to do this year was to get involved in more networking groups to expand our circles, meet like minded businesses and show people a little more about what we do!

We now attend a grand total of 5 networking groups, and love each of them for all kinds of different reasons. You can find links to each below, let us know if you would like to pop along as a guest to see what it’s all about!

BOB Club Bromsgrove, BOB Club Stourport, Wyre Talent, Sterling Networks (Worcester Pears) & SVBG.

Excellent Expos…

Another of our goals this year was to start visiting more exhibitions and expo’s to meet new people & to get our name out there into the local business world. We actually had stands at all 3 exhibitions that we visited this year & we had some great feedback and made some really good connections!

Keep your eyes peeled at the next expo you visit, we may be there handing out some free goodies!

Expanded our skillset…

This year we expanded our services to offer photography & videography to our clients. We have had a bunch of experiences with this, but our favourite has been creating a documentary/promo (promentuary?) style video which focussed on Lisa Shepherd & her team at the Midlands Fashion Awards. We are particularly proud of this project as it’s the first time we have been put in a fast-paced, reactive environment which is notorious in the fashion world.

You can watch the video here, or read more about the evening here!

Grew the team!

On top of everything else going on, we have also taken on a new apprentice – Alicja (ah-leet-see-ah)! Alicja is currently learning everything that makes our Nettl world go around and will soon be involved in many of our projects that we have coming up, something which she is very excited & enthusiastic about!

Did we mention we also inherited a new office pup too? Meet Holly, the Lurcher cross Springer puppy! You can read more about the team on our Studio page here.

Our Personal Highlights

(because we love to share what we get up to outside of studio life! Rollover the images for a surprise!)

Dan’s 2019 Highlights

“Well, 2019 has been all business for me, no big holidays or adventures this year. But don’t get the violins out, the family did get a new puppy (as if things weren’t hectic enough). The main highlight of the year for me was the business move. Very stresssful, but all well worth it in the end and a great success. Our own premises promises great things and opportunities for the future – Looking forward to 2020!”

Linzi’s 2019 Highlights

“My year has been super busy, both inside and outside of work! I have travelled to some really cool places, including one of my bucket list destinations – the Amalfi Coast in Italy which was an incredible experience. More recently, I have bought & moved into my forever home which I am super excited about. It’s a work in progress but we’re looking forward to making it our own.”

Katie’s 2019 Highlights

“2019 has bought me some wonderful opportunities, but my favourite thing to happen this year was spending 3 weeks backpacking in Thailand. Whilst we were there, I achieved my PADI Open Water Diver course on Koh Tao island – something which I felt was an experience of a lifetime & have always dreamed of doing! I have also enjoyed further developing my photography & videography skills both inside & outside of work time, as this is something that I am super passionate about!”

Alicja’s 2019 Highlights

“This year has been a fun one for me, I got trained to be a head barista mid-year and now I found myself to be an apprentice for Nettl of Kidderminster which I am really enjoying. One of the best moments this year was me adopting my dog from Forest Dog Rescue. Just being able to give a dog a home has been such a precious experience for me and makes me want to adopt another one – hoping to get a dachshund next!”

Fancy a Coffee?

We love meeting new people, learning about different businesses & their industries. Maybe we could start a project together?
