The one when we did some…

Spooky Filming
At Owl Farm

Little Owl Farm Park are a nettl:concierge client of ours, so when they asked for ideas to promote their Halloween Fright Night events we thought that a quirky promotional video would be a great idea! Plus Katie really loves Halloween so she was over the moon to be working on this project.

We spent some time talking with the Owl Farm Park team to find out what actitivies they would be hosting at their events, and created a storyboard of shot ideas to take onsite for inspiration.

The deadline on this project was tight and the brief was minimal, meaning we had to interpret & improvise ideas on filming day. This lead to filming some of the activities, as well as incorporating a small story of a witch trying to find a scarecrow into the video to bulk it out and give it a beginning, middle & end. After spending half a day with the team dressed as spooky characters & working with some Halloween-y props, we took all of the clips back to the studio to begin editing.

After assembling the clips and editing them to make it look like it had been darker outside (it was daytime when filmed), we added some titles to tell the audience what the video was about. We treated this like a teaser video to encourage clicks through to the website and ticket bookings.

After reviewing the project, we are still super happy with the outcome! There was lots of positive feedback on the Owl Farm Facebook pages, and from the Owl Farm team themselves! Watch this space for more seasonal themed videos, but for now, enjoy the Halloween video we made below…

Fancy a Coffee?

We love meeting new people, learning about different businesses & their industries. Maybe we could start a project together?
