The One Where We Attended…

Nettl 5P’s
Course

Katie & Leets took the train down to Birmingham to attend a course ran by Nettl HQ. Going on a training course is always a fun little adventure, as well as fantastic opportunity to learn & polish up our skills! Nettl HQ were as always, incredibly welcoming and put on a wonderful lunch buffet for us to enjoy whilst soaking in all the information.

The course focused on the importance of transparency when it comes to working on a web based project with a client, and ensuring that expectations are set from the get go so everyone remains on the same page throughout the project. This is a crucial skill to learn and develop for any industry during the quoting stage, as well as for any pitching opportunities that arise too.

Quoting and pitching can sometimes feel awkward, but understanding how the best way to present the information in a format that the end-user will understand (and saying it with confidence) helps both parties feel comfortable and more at ease talking about the project specifications. Getting a clear brief, setting a realistic budget & managing the expectations will all hand in hand lead to a successful project!

Fancy a Coffee?

We love meeting new people, learning about different businesses & their industries. Maybe we could start a project together?
