FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST 2020
The one where we…

SHOW YOU WHAT WE WORKED ON IN AUGUST

August has been a bit of a hectic month with plenty of holidays and well deserved time off for the hard working team at Pixel! You often get to see what we get up to outside of the studio but we rarely share the fun and creative projects that we are putting all of our hard work into on a daily basis.

All of our jobs differ from one another and it never feels like we are working on a job that we did not too long ago which is what makes our work life so exciting and thrilling! The aim of this studio life blog is to give you a little insight into what our life looks like at the Pixel Studio (and the remote Pixel studio!) and the kinds of projects that we fortunately get to work on and inject our creativity into.

Are you looking for an agency that will take care of all your branding, marketing and website needs? Lets schedule in a virtual meeting where we can discuss your expectations, wants and needs to create you a strong, personalised and noble brand. Give us a call on 01562 747411 or email kidderminster@nettl.com and we’d be happy to chat!

Alicja’s August HIGHLIGHT

“One of the most exciting jobs that I had a chance to work on was giving our long standing customer The Factory Opticians a website refresh on their homepage which hopefully will be spread across the whole website.

I wanted to create a design that is modern, minimalistic and engaging for the end-user as the previous design was minimal in content and very bold and bright which was trendy at the time but now makes the website look out dated. Therefore I toned it down, used some professional imagery and created a space where The Factory Opticians team is able to post out monthly featured products for their customers.”

Katie’s August HIGHLIGHT

“Julia & Chris are the delightful people who run a camper hire business for holidays & weddings called Love to Camper. They gave us a call to chat about producing them some business cards for their new venture. With lots of complex projects on at the moment, I found it refreshing to work on something more design oriented, and it was made more fun with the existing branding that we had to work with as it was so vibrant and quirky! Those who know my design style know that this kind of this is right up my street!

We ended up creating a baby pink card with a beachy image in the background to nod towards the “vacay” vibes, accompanied by some very colourful text on the reverse. And that’s all there is to it! Sometimes the simple jobs are the most fun & relaxing.”

Linzi’s August HIGHLIGHT

“Working on Tailored Beauty has been a really fun, girly and exciting project for us to get ourselves involved in. Our client was looking for something clinical & professional, not too girly or feminine and more minimalistic. It needed to feel high quality, safe, secure and trustworthy but still with ability to inject some personality to the brand and its identity.

With our long standing experience in the beauty industry we straight away began creating logos that look professional and clean but has a stamp on it to give to showcase the personality behind the brand. Although the project is still on-going, we have really made some big progress and even designed the home-page for our client to have a look at and take in.”

Dan’s August HIGHLIGHT

“A job that I spent quite a bit of time on this month was New Wave Bathrooms which in fact went live this month! It’s been a really exciting and fresh job to be working on due to the more minimalistic approach to the overall design of the website which has given it a more modern and fresh feel.

The team at New Wave Bathrooms work hard creating projects that are ultra-modern, timeless and of high quality. The website reflects these qualities with a modern and on trend design whilst giving New Wave a new platform to showcase their projects, character and service.”
